With his strong affinity for numbers, finance, and organizational structure, Richard's main duties are the budgeting, corporate management, and oversight of all projects to assure that things are handled correctly. Being able to build a beautiful home is only half the process and our clients have the confidence that their project is being budgeted and managed properly and safely. Richard was always a hard worker and multi-tasker, working his way through college full-time as a salesperson for Manchester Plastics serving the building trade industry. After graduating college with a BS Degree in finance from California State University in Northridge, Richard was promoted to National Sales Manager until he decided to follow his true calling in building.

After the Northridge earthquake, Richard started Top Job Real Estate Renovations to clean up and rehabilitate the repossessed and abandoned homes for the banking industry. Top Job became a preferred vendor for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Wells Fargo among others. With a strong knowledge and passion for technology, Richard branched out into home AV and automation. As the bank rehabilitation business was coming to an end in 2000, Richard formed his new company RACHS, Inc. and expanded into high-end residential construction. After building homes successfully on his own, Richard and Gareth joined forces and started Stregan Group Ltd. so they could handle the ever-increasing amount of referrals they were getting.

Richard firmly believes that all construction projects belong to the client and that our job is to institute the processes that will complete the home in a timely, organized, and professional manner with the highest level of quality. Next to family, your home is usually your greatest asset.


Born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Gareth grew up following in the footsteps of his father, designing and constructing the build-outs for his family's business and restoring his family home, a classic early 1800's estate that is now under the protection of the Northern Ireland Historical Building Trust. It was during this process that he acknowledged the timeless beauty of quality craftsmanship and developed a love for the homebuilding process.

Gareth moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA to study for his BA in Philosophy, concurrently commencing his homebuilding career. He created Windrush Group and began designing, building, and remodeling homes in Pacific Palisades and Brentwood both for clients and for development. He has lived locally ever since, contributing to his community and becoming a board member of the Mandeville Canyon Homeowners Association.

While running his own firm, Gareth focused his attention on not just building houses, but rather homes for his clients whose relationships would not end with the completion of their project, but continue for years to come. To that end, he merged talents with Richard, creating Stregan Group, enabling him to concentrate more on the onsite aspect of building and creating a beautiful product, while walking his clients comfortably through the otherwise stressful process. He firmly believes that these personal relationships can truly help him understand what his clients need and what they want in what they will comfortably call home for years to come

Interior Planner and Designer

Allyson has over 14 years experience as an interior designer and is committed to consistently achieving client and project objectives. Her technical expertise, design ability, and construction knowledge provided a solid foundation for her residential and commercial projects, which includes dental offices, law offices, and retail stores.

Allyson opened her own interior design business, Apropos Designs in 2002. Single handedly, she developed and assembled design boards for client presentations, source all fabrics, furnishings, lighting, and other materials for proposed design plans, as well as manage sub-contractors for fabrication and installation of all items.

A part of Stregan Group since 2006, Allyson's space planning skills have emerged as an integral part of the design process. Allyson generates 3D design layouts for client presentation and blue print submission for all proposed cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, and lighting. She sources and selects all flooring, counter and tile materials, appliances, fixtures, and lighting for the projects as well as providing interior design services for layout of furnishings and window treatments. Her passion for design is evident in her proactive and positive attitude, which is refined work ethic and built on personal integrity and respect for others.

Office Manager

Marni manages the office including but not limited to the bookkeeping, payroll, and subcontractor accounts. She ensures effectiveness and efficiency through coordinating office operations and procedures. Her highly organized and thorough personality helps to keep the inner workings of the office at the highest level of efficiency. Marni relishes her challenging work environment and enjoys its many opportunities to learn essential aspects of the business. In the ever-changing landscape of available technology, Marni is helping The Stregan Group keep a competitive edge in the construction market. With over 20 years of office management, bookkeeping experience and as a previous owner of multiple businesses herself, Marni brings a business mind to the table and is a valuable asset to The Stregan Group.

Administrative Supervisor

Sacha plays an essential role in managing Stregan Group’s day-to-day operations, from the planning stage to move-in day, and beyond. She helps oversee the daily work on job sites and interfaces with both the homeowners and crewmembers, ensuring the needs of all are communicated and met. She coordinates and schedules sub-contractors and in-house work, and reviews it once completed. Sacha makes certain that all aspects of the project are executed to meet the high standards of The Stregan Group.
